Leica CM1510S Mohs Cryostat

The Leica CM1510 S Cryostat offers exceptional value for a range of cryogenic and critical procedures, including MOHS surgery. 

This cryostat facilitates the rapid freezing and sectioning of skin into multiple thin layers. Given the importance of time in processing frozen specimens, it features an actively cooled quick freezing shelf with a defrost function and a robust refrigeration system to deliver swift outcomes.

The specimen can be swiftly clamped and oriented using the user-friendly orientation system, ensuring rapid preparation and high-quality sections.

For efficient trimming, the cryostat is equipped with a motorized coarse feed, offering two speed settings in each direction to enhance productivity.

Its actively cooled quick-freezing shelf, reaching -45ºC with a heat extractor, enables the extremely rapid freezing of specimens. A manual defrost cycle is also available for activation as needed.

The cryochamber, well-lit and insulated, is designed for easy access via a heated sliding window, providing ample space for comfortable specimen management.

Safety is prioritized with the Leica CM1510 S Cryostat's handwheel, which is smoothly operable and lockable in the upper position to prevent injuries during specimen or knife changes.
